"I have been a writer for 29 years, I wrote for a number of WA Adjudicators and for many years, wrote for the visiting Eastern States Adjudicators before deciding to write exclusively for Linley Campbell, who had become a close friend. This led to my writing at Nationals in 4 States, Pan Pacific Masters in Queensland, numerous local Competitions in SA, Ballarat October Comps and the Palais in Melbourne in 2019."

"Writing just seemed right as I have been involved in Calisthenics for 52 years with Nerida being part of the first ever Subbie State Team to go to Ballarat. We were part of the Floreat Club where I was also the delegate to the League (as it was called then), I also became the 1st Life Member of Floreat Club."

"I really enjoy the interaction with so many people of all ages, watching both their children and in many cases grandchildren continuing in this lovely sport."

"I have been involved with 'Performing Arts in Catholic Schools' since its inception 30 years ago, I sang with the Churchlands Choral Society for 20 years, something I loved, and have been a Volunteer at St John of God Hospital in Subiaco for 13 years since I retired.
I have loved seeing the sheer quality and imagination of Calisthenics routines evolve over the years along with the amazing balletic quality of Gracefuls and gymnastic quality of Solo & Duos which could grace any stage anywhere. This is what makes me continue to love and enjoy Calisthenics."
Thank you for your ongoing volunteering efforts Colleen, If you would like to get involved as a volunteer at the Swan Park Theatre visit our website https://www.calisthenicswa.com.au/volunteers for further information.
